The Opera Theater is a non-administrative institution with legal and financial autonomy, It operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. The Opera Theater is located at the City of Culture and it gathers several artistic Poles: The Theater and Scenic Arts Pole, the Music and Opera Pole, the Ballet and Choreographic Arts Pole and the House of Novel.
The Opera Theater supervises also the Symphonic Orchestra of the Opera of Tunis, the Ballet of the Opera of Tunis, as well as the Tunisian Symphonic Orchestra, the National Orchestra of Music and the National Troupe of Folkloric Arts
The Opera Theater is promoting the cultural production through its various technical spaces and trainings. It also ensures artistic residencies and cooperation with the artists and creators.
The National Center for Cinema and Image (CNCI) was created following the Decree No. 86/2011 dated on September 13, 2011. According to the mentioned decree, the CNCI is a public non-administrative establishment with a legal body and an administrative and financial autonomy. Decree No. 753/201 dated on July 2. 2012 about the administrative and financial organization of the CNCI, stated that the CNCI has a General Direction with a strategic and prospecting council and also a management one.
Mrs. Chiraz Laatiri, first Director General of the CNCI took office in October 2012. The relocation of the headquarters of the CNCI in the City of Culture has consolidated its activities in a more suitable structure, including: the Tunisian Cinematheque directed by Hichem Ammar
The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art is a public, non-administrative institution created by the governmental decree n ° 2018-381 of April 23. 2018
The Museum works on preserving and valorizing the various works of the national collection of plastic arts and also on the organizing national and international exhibitions. It represents a space devoted to researches and to creation oriented to the Tunisian and foreign artists and researchers. The museum is widely open to the Tunisian society, through the exhibitions it organizes and also through the cultural mediation actions.
The Institute of Translation of Tunis is a national institution.Created following the Decree No. 401 of 2006, dated on February 03, 2006, It's a public institution with a non-administrative nature that enjoys legal personality and financial independence and is subject to the supervision of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.
The House of Novel of the City of Culture is the first space devoted for the novel in the Arab world, it is directed by the novelist and critic Kamal Riahi. It represents a space where the novel is celebrated throughout the year. It is widely open on the Arab and international novelistic scene, aiming to improve the spread of novels in Tunisia
The National Center for Puppetry Arts is an artistic institution with an administrative and financial autonomy under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture.
The National Center of Puppetry Arts was created on March 27, 1993 and works on the same itinerary of the former Puppet Theater Troupe of Tunis founded in 1976 thanks to the efforts of the best puppeteers convinced by the important role that this art can play as a cultural expression.
The National Establishment for the Promotion of Festivals and Cultural and Artistic Events was established following the Decree No. 733 of January 16. 2014 regarding the establishment of the National Establishment for the Promotion of Festivals and Cultural and Artistic Events and its financial and administrative bodies. The Institution is mainly responsible
under the supervision of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, for the organization of the International Festival of Carthage, the Theatrical Days of Carthage, the Musical Days of Carthage and the International Book Exhibition of Tunis. In addition to all the cultural and artistic events coming under the supervision of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.

These teams provide a daily reporting of the various events organized in the spaces of the City and broadcast them through the media and communication platforms of the City of Culture (Website, Facebook, Tweeter, Instagram). The Media Center also provides daily newsletters for the journalists specialized in culture in Tunisia and in the Arab world.
